Your Name, Woven Into the Fabric

In bespoke tailoring, true luxury is often found in details that are created exclusively for the wearer. A perfectly fitted suit expresses personal style through its cut, cloth and craftsmanship. House of Bansilal takes personalization one step further with NameWoven Suit Fabric—suiting in which the letters of your name are woven directly into the fabric itself.
Unlike personalization that is added after the fabric has been manufactured, the name letters become an integral part of the textile. They are woven vertically into the fabric, creating a distinctive signature that can later become part of a bespoke suit, tuxedo, blazer, Bandhgala, Indo-Western outfit or other tailored garment.
Your Name. Woven Forever.
What Is NameWoven Suit Fabric?
NameWoven is a personalized suiting fabric manufactured with the customer's chosen name letters woven vertically into the cloth.
The personalization is woven—not printed or embroidered. This distinction gives the fabric its character. The name becomes part of the design of the cloth itself rather than an embellishment applied to the finished garment.
The result is sophisticated and discreet. From a distance, the fabric retains the appearance of premium suiting. At closer range, the personalized woven letters reveal an individual detail created specifically for its owner.
It is particularly suited to customers who want something beyond conventional monograms and personalized accessories.
Four Classic Suiting Colours
House of Bansilal offers NameWoven Suit Fabric in four carefully selected suiting colours:
Black — Timeless, formal and sophisticated. An excellent choice for evening wear, formal suits, tuxedos and special occasions.
Navy Blue — One of the most versatile colours in menswear. Navy works beautifully for business suits, wedding suits and contemporary bespoke tailoring.
Royal Blue — A more distinctive and expressive option for customers who want their personalized suit to stand apart.
Charcoal Grey — Refined and understated, making it particularly suitable for sophisticated business and formal tailoring.
These four colours allow bespoke tailors and their clients to select anything from understated traditional tailoring to a more noticeable statement piece.
Choose the Colour of Your Woven Name Letters
Personalization is not limited to the name itself. Customers can also select the colour of the vertically woven letters.
Available letter colours include:
Gold • Yellow • Red • Mid Grey • White • Orange
The combination of base fabric and letter colour can dramatically change the character of the finished cloth.
For example, black with gold letters creates a rich luxury appearance, while navy with mid-grey letters provides a more discreet effect. Royal blue with white or contrasting letters can create a stronger contemporary statement.
Our team can help customers select an appropriate combination depending upon how subtle or prominent they want the woven name to appear.
Available in 100% Wool and Poly Viscose
Different customers and markets have different requirements, so NameWoven Suit Fabric can be manufactured in two fabric qualities:
100% Wool offers the natural handle, drape and sophisticated appearance associated with premium traditional suiting. It is an excellent choice for luxury bespoke and made-to-measure garments.
Poly Viscose provides another practical option for customers and tailoring businesses requiring personalized woven suiting for different applications and price points.
This allows bespoke tailors, designers and clothiers to select a quality appropriate for their clientele and market.
Made Especially for Each Name
NameWoven is not simply taken from standard stock and personalized afterward. The fabric is manufactured specifically for the requested name.
For this reason, the minimum order quantity is 4 metres for each name.
For example, if a customer requires fabric woven with the name “ALEX”, the minimum production quantity for that particular name is 4 metres.
The manufacturing period is approximately 45 working days.
This made-to-order process is part of what makes NameWoven different from ordinary ready-stock suiting.
Created for Bespoke Tailors and Individual Clients
NameWoven Suit Fabric can offer bespoke tailors, made-to-measure companies, menswear designers and luxury clothiers an additional level of personalization for their clients.
Instead of offering only a personalized label or embroidered initials inside the jacket, the tailor can offer something far more fundamental:
the client's identity woven into the cloth from which the suit itself is made.
It can be particularly appealing for:
Wedding and groom suits • Bespoke suits • Tuxedos • Blazers • Bandhgalas • Indo-Western garments • Special-occasion tailoring • Personalized gifts • Signature wardrobes
For a wedding, milestone celebration or important event, the fabric can transform the garment into something much more personal.
A Detail That Belongs to You
Luxury does not always need to be loud.
One of the most interesting characteristics of NameWoven fabric is that its personalization can remain relatively discreet. To most people, it may simply appear to be an elegant suiting pattern. Look closer, however, and the woven letters reveal the identity of the wearer.
It is a detail understood by the person wearing the suit—and noticed by those who appreciate craftsmanship and personalization.
That is the philosophy behind our line:
